Hike at Mount Tamborine
Let’s start with five activities you can enjoy for free. First up is hiking at Mount Tamborine. Less than an hour’s drive from Surfers Paradise, this natural attraction offers several hinterland hikes that will give amazing views of lush greeneries and spectacular waterfalls. Enjoy a Day at the Beach
Speaking of relaxing at the beach, it’s definitely something you can enjoy every day of the school holiday. The Gold Coast has about 70 kilometres of coastline with the most amazing beaches in the world. You can go to Surfers Paradise, the most popular of Gold Coast beach or visit Palm Beach, a quiet and less-crowded destination. Whatever beach you choose to visit, you can expect to enjoy an array of activities that suit people of all ages.
Explore Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
These school holidays, why not introduce your kids to some of the amazing animals found only in Australia. The best place in the Gold Coast to do is the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
