How long does the ride go for?
- The Ultimate Jet Boat Ride runs for 55 minutes – boarding to disembarking.
- The Ultimate Jet Boat Ride + Lunch sees the boat run for 55 minutes and the nearby Milky Lane lunch around another hour.
- The Ultimate Jet Boat Ride + Helitour runs for 1.5 hours – boat boarding to helicopter disembarking.
What is the age limit to ride?
We try to cater for everyone on our jet boat rides but safety regulations require you to be a minimum 5 years of age to ride.
Is the ride safe?
100%! Our jet boats meet the highest regulation standards set by Marine Safety Queensland with our entire fleet equipped with high-tech, auto-inflating life jackets. We also carry out meticulous maintenance on our jet boats to keep them performing at premium safety levels. All our jet boat drivers are the best in the field with hundreds of driver hours under their belts – we've never had an incident in our 15+ years' operating history.
Do you get wet during the ride?
Of course! It's all part of the Jetboat Extreme fun! We do supply spray jackets though if you'd prefer to stay dry.
What should I wear on the ride?
Go with some casual gear that you might wear to the beach or shopping around the Coast – remember, you're going to get wet! Thongs/flip-flops are fine. Bring cheap sunnies if you're worried about losing good ones when we spin out; we offer straps and sell cheapies for $5.
Are there any ride restrictions?
We recommend that pregnant ladies and children under the age of 5 years not ride with Jetboat Extreme for safety reasons.

Too right there is! The Ultimate Jet Boat Ride Family Package saves you a WHOPPING $46 OFF the individual booking price.
Where does the ride depart from?
Jetboat Extreme departs from Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise – directly behind Vibe Hotel and Driftwood Social, riverside.
Do I have to arrive early for the ride?
Yes please. Best to arrive 15-minutes prior to departure time.
How many passengers does the ride take?
We run two, 14-seater boats and one, 18-seater boat making Jetboat Extreme the perfect experience for parties, group bookings and team building exercises.
