Surfers Paradise is a multisporters dream this month with both the Cooly Classic ocean swimming race and Gold Coast Tri - Luke Harrop Memorial events taking place. The Cooly Classic 750m and 2km swimming races will be held on April 15 (Sunday) and will see competitors swim the Coolangatta, Kirra and Snapper Rocks breaks. The Gold Coast Tri - Luke Harrop Memorial will be held at the Broadwater Parklands on the Gold Coast on April 21 and offers a range of events for athletes of all levels. If you are feeling fit or want a little pre-winter inspiration get along and check them out, who knows you might be tempted to enter an event yourself - the Gold Coast Marathon on June 30 is still within reach!
