Summer storms hit Surfers Paradise
All Gold Coast beaches closed due to weather
Wild, wet, water... a combination of words which spell fun to the team at Jetboat Extreme but when you are talking about an extreme weather event battering the Gold Coast they conjure up a much more serious tone. All beaches on the Gold Coast were closed as a safety precaution early this week as huge swells and winds of up to 100km/h along with possible flooding were all forecast to hit the coast. The team at Jetboat Extreme is thinking of the two people who lost their lives as a result of the storm and urges everyone to stay safe and avoid taking any risks. We will be keeping a close eye on the warnings and forecasts and hoping things settle very soon. Take care out there!
